Safeway Gas Rewards: $50 Giftcard Giveaway

If you are like me, you love saving money any way that you can.  I'm always thinking about that next lens I want to buy and watching my pennies helps me justify the next purchase.

So when Safeway asked my blogging partner and I to check out their rewards program we were happy to do so. Safeway has introduced a way to save money at their stores and at the gas pump.

How does it work?  For every dollar you spend at Safeway your points begin to add up.   Points are redeemed in increments of 100.  The level you save at the pump is based on the points you've accumulated.

Check out the photo below...

Where can you get these gas rewards redeemed?  Not every gas station participates.  To find out where your closest gas station click here to enter your zip code and get a list of the gas stations near you.

I have a Safeway around the corner from my house and a  Chevron station that participates in the program down the street.  To save at the pump, just just enter your Safeway card number or telephone number that you use at Safeway to get your rewards.

If you go to a participating station you will have the option at the pump to enter your Safeway information. From there it will tell you if you have gas rewards to redeem.  It's that easy.

So spend a little and save a lot.  It all adds up and before you know it, you'll be getting that lens you've been longing for. ;)

Call 1-877-258-2799 if you have questions about the programs or check out their FAQ section on their website.

Want to try this out for yourself?  We have a $50 Safeway gift card for one lucky winner.  To enter:

  • We will pick one random winner on May 6th Monday and announce it in our comments section.
Good luck!

Full disclosure: I was provided with a $50 Safeway gift card to use on my own to test out this program. All opinions are 100% my own.
