Over the weekend I was very excited to try and photograph the Super Moon. In case you didn't see posts popping up about it on your Facebook feed, the Super Moon occurred on June 23rd and it was the largest moon of the year. On this night it was at its biggest and brightest because the moon was at its closest point in its orbit to the earth.
Unfortunately, here in Northern California we had a cloudy evening on June 23rd which made capturing the moon let alone seeing it impossible. Thankfully, I had gone out on the evening of the 22nd and snapped a few photos of the full moon (which I guess technically was not Super).
